New New Stuff!

Wanted to try out the CHANEL foundation in the compact. I also use the liquid CHANEL foundation but I wanted something that's more purse friendly, and my sister has this compact so I thought what the heck! :) ALSO, I been wanting the Turkish Delight lipgloss by NARS forEVER! It's always sold out at Nordy's, BUT I finally got my hands on the ....What's it called? Duo-lipgloss? Haha, it's ok cuz the other color is really pretty too! OHHHH, and check out the new RocknRepublic eyeshadow!!! I loveeeeeeee it! The casing is too damn cute!. I think i'm going to go back and buy everythng by R&R. Hahaha. So happy that they came out with make-up!. Neways, $180 well spent. :)


On another note, I thought I was going to have my surgery today, but it turns out my appt was just another consultation, and HEYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY-- I DO NOT NEED A SKIN GRAFT afterall! Yay! I was getting really spooked about that! But yah--kinddddda of subject... but.. my nurse was prego, and after my DR appt I went to visit my friend Selena- and she's 3 months prego... THEN, after I left Selena's I met up w my friend Cember, AND SHE'S PREGNANTTTTTTT, then Cember and I went to get pedicures and guess what?? The lady who gave me my pedicure was PREGNANT!? WTF! Must be the season! Ok, that's all. Take care everyone :)

Javon's Bday

My son's fourth Bday was on the 8th! I know it's cliche`, but kids grow up soooooo stinkin fast! I miss my lil 5lb preemie! Now, he's more than half of my size and is about to be towering over me SOON! For his bday we had a last minute mini-family party type thing at Funtasia. It was fun for being like one day's notice! Got him a custom butterfinger cake from coldstone (mmmmmmh)! He did well on gifts too! NOW, we are in Anaheim! James bought us + my nephew Quinton tickets Weds morning and we left Thursday morning. Hehe. Thought it would be perfect to take our munchkin to Disneyland for his bday. Awww, wish I was that lucky when I was younger! Anyways, we were at Disneyland for like 6 hours today and my feet are killing me. The boys knocked out right when we got in our rental car, and I don't even want to get into how much money we spent in the Disney stores (omg). Oh well, it's all worth it and I got this sexy pair of Rayban Aviators! Woop. Now we are back in our hotel watching movies that are "still in theaters" $15 bux a movie & these turds picked out 3 they want to watch! Ack! Yep, that time of the quarter AGAIN. I have got loads of work that needs to be done by Sunday night. And here I am, BSing on my blog, reading people's blogs, and playing FB games. I am kinda glad that I don't have a good book to read right now otherwise i'd really be screwed! So, can anyone tell me why I took a hw "break" at 11PM & it's now 1:48AM, and i'm still on break? JEEEEESH! Can we say PROCRASTINATORRRRRRRRRRRRR! Hhahaha. Oh well, I always get em' done :)

Today's Re-cap

Today was actually pretty darn eventful (to me anyways being a stay-at-home-mom)! So yah, I took my ass to the post office, and guess what? They said I had to call a locksmith, so I did, and he said he'd come over tomorrow and pop-the-lock on my mailbox and give me a new lock (and key). Yah, uhm, so why did I see my son playing with a small key in his carseat? Grrr! Ok, i'm happy but now I have to cancel that locksmith appt! Haha, Yah, then took my big butt to the gym- finally got my hour on the eliptical in (I thought i'd lost it)! Then picked up my mom and son to go eat at La Palmera in the Mill Creek town center (love that place), my Uncle came to meet us up and then we went to the mall and of course watched G.I. Joe, I like that movie... It's packed with totally hot guys. Now, i'm back home, bout to get ready and go to Snoqualmie Casino with my Baby's Daddy. Wish me luck!

LOST MAILBOX KEY

So my mom lost my ONLY mailbox key... I'm kinda pissed because i'm expecting a bunch of bills for this month. According to a bunch of posts i've came across on GOOGLE, I have to take my LAZY ass to the post office, and pay for a replacement key/mailbox. GRRRRRR. Ok, just had to vent :)

Phew!!!

IT's been a minute since i've updted on here!!! I haven't been up to much :) I'm taking one online class for Summer quarter so I can somewhat enjoy this season... Which is going to be over for me the 29th of this month because i'm scheduled to have surgery that will most likely have me out of commision for a good minute! I'm hoping 6 months total for recovery (less than 6 months will be perfect, but i'm trying to be realistic). I have to get a skin graft because the tissue from my bullet wound site is not healing properly. Neways, I can't wait to get it done and over with although i'm totallyyyy skerrrrd eeee. I was even thinking of post-poning the procedure until mid Sept (when it starts cooling down - I don't think it's a good idea to have an open wound during hot weather + I want to be able to do something for my son's 4th birthday that falls on the 8th of Sept).

Enough about that! What's everyone doing this Summer? My family and I already took our trip to Vegas a few weeks ago, and we are now planning a camping trip for this Fri-Sun. I bought Lucy the cutest life jacket since after tons of research have learned that "Pugs" can't really swim. I can't wait to test it out and see how she does! Awe! It's going to be Javon's 2nd camping trip and i'm sure he's going to love it even more than his 1st time!

I feel like i've been neglecting my blog! So what's new everyone?? So, next week is my last week of the quarter! Woohoo! Not excited for my 2 finals, but when am I ever excited to take tests!? Uhhh, NEVER!

Neways, I have to take Lucy to get her 16wk shots today at 2:30. I hope she's a good girl! She's been givin me the run around these past few days! She is really smart though -- just super hard-headed!!! Eeeek.

What to do for the rest of the week??? Prob not going to do anything big on Friday because I have an HIV/AIDS class I have to attend on Sat. 10 Freakin hours long! EEEEEEEK, I hope it flies by because gosh.... I KNOW i'm going to be SO tired! Alright I'm off to get me and my son son ready! TTYL!

So this past weekend I have had a wedding rehearsal to go to & the wedding ceremony/reception the following day. Preparing for the wedding was chaos, so I can only imagine how the bride SELENA felt! Poor thing! We were a lil behind on a few things, but most of the bridesmaids & others got it done for our girl. The wedding was beautiful,, and my friend was the most beautiful bride! Awww. It turned out to be success! Congratulations to Selena & Mike!

I'm pretty bummed that my camera died right when I turned it on before the wedding! Puuuuuh! OH well, there was a professional photographer catchin everything and taking pics, so when I get a hold of those or the other girls pics from their cameras -- I WILL POST!

I got rear-ended today =(

So today after school, some chickenhead rear-ended me. UGH. u can't see the damage that well in this pic from my iphone, but hey. we took it to 3 places for estimates, and all prices are ranging from $1700-2500. The bumper alone will cost $750 & the exhaust is around $500! Damn, that doesn't include damage that can't be seen (if there is any), and then there is the cost of labor! Oh well, that girl is paying for it, James & I are meeting her up tomorrow because she doesn't want to go through insurance, and just wants to pay up front. That's cool with me cuz she seems like a nice lady, she made me copy down her entire drivers license as well as all her insurance info just in case. Other than the car being busted up, my back and left shoulder is a lil sore, but ohhhhh well. I feel ok =)

On another note, I got my streezy today! Watch out! Yeeeeeeeeeeeee!

I don`t know why my sleeping schedule is always so screwed up! I can never keep a decent (sleeping) schedule for more than a few weeks! Wtheck!

Today (technically, yesterday), was pretty fun :p I got to eat out (again) with both of my favorite boys at Jade Garden (I like that restaurants setting). The food was nummy... Then right after, Javon & I took off to the mall. I felt pretty rushed since the malls now close at 9PM instead of 930PM (Damn recession). I can't stand going shopping and being pressed for time! Ugh, I didn't have enough time to get my niece a bday gift there, so we (Javon & i) took off to target. Got her a bunch of cute outfits, and Javon picked her out a Tinkerbell toy (so cute). Maybe I should have a GIRL, so I can get her all the cute outfits and princess toys (NOT). Hahaha. Neways, tomorrow (later on today) we have to get up early to go to ChuckyCheese in Bellevue... I honestly, don't know how I feel about the whole "CHUCKY CHEESE" thing! With the "SWINE INFLUENZA" at large! Ugh!!!! I want to put a mask on my son! I don't want him around all them lil scruffy kids! Hahaha.

Swine... That's some scarey shit right there! I wonder what's going to happen with that! It seems as if people contracting "Swine" in the states are recovering ok on their own, but then there are the cases elsewhere that are resulting in death. Eeeek. I hope everyone will practice preventative measures and wash their hands meticulously, as well as avoid people coughing/sneezing. Makes me want to just stay home! Neways, I hope that situation gets handled SOON.

EXAMS

Sheesh, I feel like I haven't updated in awhile (but who cares? it's not like I have any followers LOL), neways, i'm super tired. I set my alarm for 5:25am and pressed snnnoooze until about 6:25am, so I could get my butt to school extra early to do some reviewing of the material that is supposed to be/was on my exams (have 2 today - one down; one to go). Neways, I think I did farely well on my 1st exam. I guessed on a few, and am sure those are the only ones that I got wrong (if any). Now, i'm beat down tireddddddd! I have the longest gap in between classes! I'm sittin here in the lib IMPATIENTLY waiting for my next class. Ugh, and EXAM! Grrr. I came to the lib to get some more studying done, but my brain is just not agreeing with me! What i'm reading is not absorbing!!! Possibly because i'm tired & i've gone over the notes and what-not plenty of times (still not sticking). I think I just need to get in there and get the dang test, so it'll come back to me. I always do this! I have major test anxiety, and swear that I am going to do bad, but I always do surprisingly well. Hmmmm, maybe I should give myself a break, and take those deep corny breaths like what they teach you during study skills classes. HAHA.

Yes, today is my Friday! That's not saying much though considering I have a presentation, paper, and summary of that paper due the 29th. The bright side is that I get to sleep in & concentrate a lil more on the gym. HW everyday of course, but oh well. I hope to be able to keep focused for the rest of the week because all my "buddies" that I like to hang with are going to Vegas. Well, not all, but my sis and of course selena can always get me to go out! Oh, and I possibly have a movie date on Friday =)

It's so cold! I knew this good weather we've been getting was too good to be true! Oh well, I guess it's a good time to study. I sure do have loads of homework! That's the thing about "hybrid" courses! Less class; more homework! Agggh! It's ok though :) As long as I get it done (hopefully with out "cramming").

So does anyone have any fun plans for Easter? I hope so; cause I sure don't! I'm thinking about just having an Easter egg hunt at home for my son. James & I can get the eggs ready and just put around the backyard (since it's big & we just moved into this place), it might be fun :) I think so! Neways, i'm planning to go out and get his basket together today (hopefully), I don't want to just cram it with candy and lame toys but i'm thinking of getting a few books, DVDs, and DS games to throw in there. That should be fun :) Anyways, i'm off to finish this chpt out of my text book. I planned to get 2 more chpts knocked off today, so HOPEFULLY I can do that!
